Bucharest! A place I never dreamed of going to. but friendships changed all of that. When I met Bogdan and Laici near Orsova, they both invited me to come to Bucharest and visit them. After leaving Vidin in Bulgaria, I decided to leave the boring fields along the river and head straight for Bucharest. Actually, the route I took paralleled the river. When I arrived in Bucharest I was surprised how modern the city had become after the revolution.

The pictures on this page are only a few of the sights in Bucharest. I plan to visit Bucharest again next year and add many more to these.

Bukarest! Ein Ort wovon ich nie geträumt. Aber Freundschaften hat das alles verändert. Als ich Bogdan und Laici in der Nähe von Orsova kennenlernte, haben sie mich beide eingeladen, Bukurest zu sehen. Nachdem ich Vidin, Bulgarien besucht hatte, entschied ich die langweilige Felder zu verlassen und direkt nach Bukarest zu radeln. Eigentlich ging die Route parallel zum Fluss. Als ich in Bukarest ankam, war ich überrascht wie modern die Stadt nach der Revolution geworden war.

Die Photos auf dieser Seite sind nur ein Paar von den interessanten Fotos der Stadt Bucharest. Nächstes Jahr möchte ich wieder dahin und viele neue Fotos dazu tun.
