Wow! To wake up in the morning to such a view is a blessing beyond belief. Many of my friends ask me, “How can you stand to sleep in a tent all of the time when you are on the road on a bicycle?” The answer. Why would I want to do anything else? In a tent, the air is 100% pure; you wake up to the sound of birds singing and cowbells ringing on the pasture. With luck, you might look out of the tent and see deer, a mountain goat, squirrels, rabbits, and other wildlife. The alternative - in a hotel - is to wander slowly to a room full of clattering plates and coffee cups and people chattering about how well - or how poorly - they slept the night before, about the terrible political situation in the world and other useless conversation. At the campsite, I brew a cup of tea, and enjoy the view as I eat my breakfast. When others are present at the campsite, the conversation is more about nature and how beautiful it is to enjoy the benefits of camping in the wilderness.
