This famous city, where Mozart was born and composed much of his music, is only 10 minutes from the German border. His home is shown here to the right.

Diese berühmte Stadt, wo Mozart geboren wurde, und so viel von seiner Musik komponiert hatte, ist nur 10 Minuten von der deutschen Grenze entfernt. Sein Haus ist hier rechts.

It is an easy bike ride from Passau to Salzburg along the Inn River. The castle in the background is the same castle as in the picture at the top of this screen -- the back side.

Der Radweg ist kurz und einfach am Inn von Passau bis Salzburg. Die Burg im Hintergrund ist die Hinterseite von der Burg im Foto ganz oben.

Leaving the Salzburg castle behind, a bike trail heads southward to Hellbrunn, an interesting courtyard with several statues. I couldn’t resist taking a picture of these two young ladies in front of the unicorn.

Hinter uns die Salzburg, fährt man weiter südlich zum Hellbrunn, einen interessanten Hof mit mehreren Statuen. Ich musste unbedingt diese 2 jungen Damen vor dem Einhorn fotografieren.

Another few kilometers to the south is the beautiful Königsee (King Lake) area in the southeastern corner of Germany.

Noch ein Paar Kilometer südlich ist der schöne Königsee.
